Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at IV MIDTOWN RENOVATION INC. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades with attention to detail.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt with accuracy.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs with a focus on quality.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants with caution and efficiency.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites with a sense of urgency.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction with a focus on maintenance.
Requirements
  • Will train and develop skills in construction techniques and safety protocols.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency as the primary language of communication.
Work Environment

The Construction Helper will work in a physically demanding environment with noisy, dusty, and hot conditions. Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy loads are essential for this role.
