Project Overview

Our company, PamTen, is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts for our financial services project, which involves the migration of legacy systems to a new technical platform.

The project has been a huge success, with our team selected as the strategic platform provider for one of the world's largest financial institutions. This has led to significant investment in legacy system migrations and technical improvements, with teams working across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
  • Conduct functional, integration, system, and acceptance testing, and oversee the execution of automated test scripts.
  • Develop and implement defect management processes, including identifying, tracking, and resolving defects.
  • Develop and provide test status reports, metrics, and dashboards to project stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage testing risks and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements
  • Strong background in QA (5+ years of experience)
  • Experience in test planning, design, execution, and defect management
  • Ability to use different requirements elicitation techniques and document requirements in a concise and specific manner
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, including expectation management
  • Knowledge of SDLC and QA functions during different SDLC phases
Preferred Skills
  • Practical experience in SQL
  • Domain and solution modeling skills, knowledge of modeling notations UML, BPMN
  • Ability to manage product backlog and facilitate key meetings such as Sprint Planning, Product Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Review
  • QA automation (Java) experience
