Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team in the design and development of marine vessels and floating structures. The successful candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture and engineering, with experience in supervising technicians and technologists.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop marine vessels and floating structures, including associated marine power plants, propulsion systems, and related systems and equipment.
- Supervision: Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Education: College/CEGEP degree in Naval Architecture or a related field.
Experience: Experience in naval architecture and engineering, with a strong background in supervising technicians and technologists.
Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
SkillsTechnical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
