  • Engage actively in the conception, development, and evaluation of technical projects and the wider engineering functions of the organization.
  • Recruit, onboard, and nurture talent, emphasizing the enhancement and upkeep of their expertise in essential areas.
  • Effectively distribute, oversee, and assess the technical assignments of both departmental and project-specific teams.
  • Ensure the acquisition of necessary resources for project execution, including drafting work specifications, creating project timelines, budgeting, risk evaluation, and selecting materials, equipment, team members, and external contractors.
  • Establish and maintain standards, practices, and processes within the engineering and technical sectors of the organization.
  • Take charge of the management of organizational projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Guarantee the precision and quality of comprehensive project plans that encompass all team functions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams towards the realization of defined objectives, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in engineering and project management.
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience in staff recruitment, supervision, and development.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean).
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering domains relevant to our projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of industry standards, norms, and regulations.
  • Strategic thinking aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CEM, etc., are a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
