Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Handling and Care: Ensure the health and well-being of our hog and pig population, including monitoring their behavior, providing veterinary care, and implementing disease prevention measures.
  • Work Record Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of farm operations, including animal health, production data, and maintenance schedules.
  • Swine Management: Oversee the daily operations of our swine production facilities, including feeding, breeding, and weaning programs.
  • Rural Area Operations: Work in a fast-paced rural environment, managing the day-to-day activities of our farm, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
  • Task Management: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring the efficient operation of our farm.
  • Screening Questions: Participate in the screening process for new employees, ensuring that candidates meet the necessary qualifications and experience for the role.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced rural environment, with exposure to animals, equipment, and varying weather conditions.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 50 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
