Job Title: HVAC Mechanical Sales Representative

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer and distributor in the HVAC space in North America. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Sales Representative to join their Surrey branch.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting all mechanical manufacturers represented by the company and providing accurate and timely support to stakeholders in the HVAC industry. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders, promoting the sale of mechanical equipment, and project managing the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to grow sales and expand market share.
  • Promote the sale of mechanical equipment, including air handling units, make-up air units, and heat pumps.
  • Carry out product selections for engineers and design/build contractors.
  • Identify and maximize opportunities.
  • Interpret schedules, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare quotations and tenders, and issue submittals.
  • Negotiate sales.
  • Project manage the entire sales cycle from initial enquiry through end of warranty period.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience selling HVAC related mechanical equipment.
  • Professional Engineering Degree or a Diploma in Engineering Technology.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Understanding of how to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
