Mechanical Sales Representative

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer and distributor in the HVAC industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Sales Representative to join their Surrey branch team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, developers, and owners, to drive sales growth and expand market share in line with company objectives.
- Promote the sale of mechanical equipment, including air handling units, make-up air units, roof top package units, dedicated outdoor air units, heat pumps, chillers, and VRF systems.
- Conduct product selections for engineers and design/build contractors, identify and maximize opportunities, and interpret schedules, construction drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Prepare quotations and tenders, issue submittals, and negotiate sales.
- Project manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry through to the end of the warranty period.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience selling HVAC-related mechanical equipment, with a preference for 5 or more years of experience.
- A thorough knowledge of mechanical products is essential.
- Professional engineering degree or diploma in engineering technology.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Positive attitude, excellent attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
