Job Title: Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Assistant to join our team at Ironwood Auto Service Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Automotive Assistant will provide support to our mechanics and tradespersons in the installation, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles and heavy equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving tools and equipment, assisting with tasks, and performing other duties as directed.

Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with tasks and projects
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The Automotive Assistant will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of experienced mechanics and tradespersons. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of settings, including installation, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles and heavy equipment.
