Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Hudson HR is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Provide information or services to employees, such as employee assistance and counselling, to support their well-being and productivity.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of the role.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for the organization.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and assess their skills and experience.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill our talent pipeline.
  • Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve communication.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of our organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
