In this role, you will conduct mental health evaluations, develop treatment strategies, and manage cases for youth in the community. Your responsibilities will include performing mental health assessments, coordinating treatment, providing crisis intervention, and consulting with families facing psychological, emotional, social, substance use, or behavioral challenges. You may also lead group sessions and Walk-In services as part of the broader Children, Youth, and Families Addiction and Mental Health initiative. You will work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment.

Essential Qualifications:

A master's degree in Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialization), Occupational Therapy (with mental health assessment and psychotherapy training), Nursing, or Psychiatric Nursing (with relevant mental health assessment and psychotherapy experience). Must be actively registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate Alberta regulatory college.

Preferred Qualifications:

This position is expected to transition to Recovery Alberta in the future. Candidates should be aware that accepting an employment offer may involve transitioning to this new organization.
