Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are clean and sanitized at all times, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
  • Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor.
Requirements and Qualifications
