Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at INNISFAIL PIZZA & PASTA 2 FOR 1. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Package take-out food and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Handle and store cleaning products, and assist in maintaining a well-organized kitchen.
- We offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- We provide opportunities for persons with disabilities, youth, veterans, and Indigenous workers to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
