Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Bilingual Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing equipment start-up procedures and conducting thorough machine and safety inspections.
  • Performing maintenance repairs, tune-ups, and necessary adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Training customer personnel on the proper operation and upkeep of equipment.
  • Engaging in courtesy calls to foster strong customer relationships while promoting parts sales and machine enhancements.
  • Providing timely updates, communication, and detailed reports regarding service activities.
Work Environment:

This role offers a flexible work schedule, allowing for a combination of remote home and on-site work. You will receive compensation for mileage incurred while using your personal vehicle for work-related tasks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • A solid understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • The ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment performance issues.
  • An understanding of PLC functionality and logic.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience with industrial equipment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Travel Requirements:

This position involves approximately 50% travel.

Compensation:

Salary Type: Annual Salary

Salary Range: CA$ 75,000 - CA$ 80,000
