Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Service Technician to join our team in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing equipment start-up, machine and safety inspections, maintenance repairs, tune-ups and adjustments.

You will also train customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance, make courtesy calls to build and maintain good customer relationships, and promote parts sales and machine upgrades. Additionally, you will provide timely communication, updates and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform equipment start-up, machine and safety inspections, maintenance repairs, tune-ups and adjustments
  • Train customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Make courtesy calls to build and maintain good customer relationships and promote parts sales and machine upgrades
  • Provide timely communication, updates and reports
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in French and English, have a solid understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and be able to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings. You will also need to be able to troubleshoot equipment performance issues, understand PLC functionality and logic, and have 3 years' hands-on maintenance experience on industrial equipment and 2 years' customer service experience.

Proficiency with MS Office is also required. A flexible work schedule with remote home and site working conditions is available, and compensation for mileage performed for work with a personal vehicle is provided.
