The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Design Leader to join our Calgary office. In this role, you will play a key part in leading the design of drainage, utilities, and roadways for a variety of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to design teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Manage the overall design process, from concept development through construction documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other disciplines to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the design of municipal infrastructure projects, with a focus on utilities and roadways.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles related to drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads, and MicroStation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
