As a vital member of the Canadian Banking Branch network, our Consultants focus on delivering outstanding service throughout the customer experience by:

  • Managing a designated portfolio of valuable and/or intricate small business client relationships to ensure retention and meet established objectives while adhering to Scotiabank's Service Standards.
  • Establishing a strong presence in the local business landscape by nurturing connections with various Centres of Influence.
  • Actively engaging with both new and existing clients to foster robust, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive guidance, empowering them to build thriving enterprises.
  • Collaborating with fellow consultants to cultivate a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications...

  • A results-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of the small business sector, including the features and advantages of small business offerings, financial statements, risk management policies, and relevant legal documentation.
  • Proficient in business development strategies and knowledgeable about small business legal frameworks, competitive products, and alternative financing options.
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills; enjoys networking and collaborating with others.
  • Educational background in a business-related field or equivalent experience as a small business owner.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
