Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Domestic Tax team in Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, identifying business and tax opportunities, and providing expert advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements for a wide variety of private clients, providing expert advice and guidance on tax matters.
  • Identify, develop, and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including tax reorganizations, pre-sale tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Assist with various tax compliance needs for clients, including corporate, trust, and estate tax returns.
  • Build key working relationships with clients, understanding their industry, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
  • Engage in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team.

Requirements

  • You have completed your CPA designation.
  • You have five years of experience in public accounting with a strong affinity for tax.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
