Job Summary

Billen Transportation is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling of dangerous goods.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and other maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgment, and organizational skills.
