About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Alberta Health Services, you will be part of an interprofessional healthcare team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing practice.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with PCA maintenance and IV initiation.
