About the Role:
Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Home Living team in the Edmonton Zone. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide professional support services to clients of all ages and stages of life in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing services that promote client safety, well-being, and independence.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resources and ensure seamless care transitions.
- Provide case management and direct client care that meets established clinical standards.
- Act as a consultant to the team, providing clinical expertise and direction on client cases.
- Participate in staff development and mentor student clinical experiences.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Preferred qualifications include a baccalaureate degree in nursing, palliative care experience, and experience with Meditech, Connect Care, and the RAI Home Care assessment tool.
