We are seeking a reliable Ground worker to join our team at Genics. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks in a rural area setting.
Key Responsibilities- Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
- Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
- Hold stakes during surveying activities.
The successful candidate will work outdoors in a rural area setting, with occasional travel to various locations. Staff accommodation may be provided.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Physical demands: The job is physically demanding, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) may be required.
- Group insurance benefits.
- Permanent work term.
- 40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
