Job Title: Communication Support Specialist

At Nordia Inc., we are seeking a skilled Communication Support Specialist to join our team. As a Communication Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities communicate effectively with others.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual to facilitate interactions between individuals with verbal or hearing impairments and their loved ones, service providers, or other necessary contacts. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate daily interactions using adapted communication tools to support individuals with verbal or hearing impairments.
  • Ensure a warm and pleasant experience for all individuals involved in interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential for this role.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
