Job Title: Parts Counter Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Elliot Equipment Rentals Sales & Service. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to customer inquiries
  • Process transactions, including cash handling and inventory management
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the supply area and warehouse
  • Set up displays of retail parts and accessories
  • Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
  • Prepare and track work orders
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials
  • Sell spare and replacement parts
  • Ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment
  • Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience
  • Basic security clearance
  • Bondable
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Own transportation
  • Valid driver's license
