Job Title: Parts Counter Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Elliot Equipment Rentals Sales & Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, address customer complaints or concerns, and provide advice on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
  • Inventory Management: Identify, label, and catalogue items received, issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
  • Warehouse Operations: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area.
  • Sales and Service: Conduct sales calls, set up displays of retail parts and accessories, and sell spare and replacement parts.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Inventory control software and internet.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
Security and Safety:
  • Basic Security Clearance: Required.
  • Bondable: Required.
  • Criminal Record Check: Required.
  • Driver's Validity Licence Check: Required.
  • Driving Record Check (Abstract): Required.
