About the Role: This position will be located in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite. The successful candidate will oversee a skilled team of Immunology researchers, driving the development of a pioneering and sustainable pipeline in Immunology, addressing a variety of modalities from inception through IND in autoimmune disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support the immunology portfolio strategy while achieving departmental scientific and pipeline objectives through effective management of research, personnel, and resources.
- Collaborate with the R&D PMO to coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, resource optimization, and timely project delivery.
- Evaluate and review project plans and data, providing daily scientific and organizational guidance for the department.
- Mentor and cultivate talent within the team, offering performance feedback, training opportunities, and exposure to diverse assignments.
Qualifications:
- PhD with over 10 years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, specifically in immune oncology and/or immunology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated history of scientific innovation and achievement, evidenced by publications, patents, and conference presentations.
- Extensive research expertise and practical experience in Th2-associated biology.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing high-performing individuals.
- Proficient in addressing complex scientific challenges with practical research strategies and executing them efficiently.
- A proactive individual with a strong sense of scientific inquiry, creativity, and rigor, complemented by excellent analytical skills and high ethical standards.
Compensation: The base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $207,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, education, training, skills, and experience.
