We are currently in search of a Project Coordinator to support a significant infrastructure initiative. This role is crucial for overseeing and managing all field construction operations for designated subcontractors and craft areas, ensuring adherence to established plans, specifications, schedules, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Superintendents to strategize and direct the work of all involved subcontractors and crafts for designated construction tasks, ensuring alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain comprehensive records confirming that subcontractor supervisors and construction personnel are trained and knowledgeable about safety policies, environmental standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures. Assist in optimizing material usage to enhance efficiency and ensure that work complies with specified quality standards. Support the Superintendent in managing contractor activities alongside the project engineering team and contracts administration. Engage in the creation of detailed execution schedules and monitor work activities and manpower needs to meet established deadlines while maximizing productivity. Contribute to the development of scope of work for subcontractor execution. Aid in formulating the construction plan and managing subcontractor operations. Ensure compliance with design and quality standards throughout the construction process. Coordinate field engineering, information management, and construction activities. Oversee various construction scopes, field change management, and project controls as assigned. Actively promote a culture of safety on the project, integrating safety into all work performed. Uphold and support the company's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies. Conduct safety audits and reporting as necessary. Utilize internal and external resources to consistently implement policies and procedures across all construction areas. Ensure the Safety Program is effectively implemented among subcontractors to foster a safe work environment and adherence to safety and record-keeping protocols. Document and report all incidents and injuries. Assist in managing small tools and consumables to ensure cost-effective and productive construction execution. Help manage construction equipment, including planning, monitoring, and controlling to ensure safe and efficient operations. Provide direct support to project and construction management in planning and utilizing appropriate methods for all construction activities. Analyze situations, identify potential issues, and recommend or implement suitable courses of action. Demonstrate knowledge across various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, engineering drawings, and related documents. Offer ongoing input regarding constructability to the design team and working trade designs. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. Confirm that project materials and workmanship align with established Quality Standards. Assist in developing and implementing Corrective and Preventative Actions for Non-Conformances. Aid in resolving technical challenges encountered during the construction phase. Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to develop and implement work plans and procedures. Assist in the development and updates of schedules for construction execution. Monitor productivity and work performance of employees and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans and budgets. Advise supervisors of potential issues, work interferences, or scheduling challenges. Help organize and prioritize subcontractor tasks to ensure timely and effective completion of multiple scopes of work. Undertake additional assignments as directed by superiors or as necessary for successful project completion.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil. Relevant craft certification, training, and 1 to 3 years of experience suitable for the assigned scope. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. Technical knowledge pertinent to job execution. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national regulations. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within time constraints. Proficiency in various computer programs and applications necessary for job execution.
