Academic Support

Provide direct academic support, particularly in basic skills, lessons, and homework, to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.

Behavioral Support

Adopt a proactive approach to supporting students in their adaptation and behavioral management, using optimal and adapted communication techniques.

Resource Referral

Provide information on social issues and refer students and their families to specialized resources as needed.

Student Supervision

Manage the supervision of students requiring specific follow-up after sanctions and organize their school reintegration.

Student Safety

Ensure the safety and support of students requiring special attention during school transportation, if necessary.

Documentation and Reporting

Rigorously document observations and interventions, keep student files up to date, and prepare detailed reports.

Medication Administration

Manage the administration of medication according to medical and school guidelines, and intervene in first aid, if necessary.

Team Support

Guide and train new team members and supervise support staff tasks related to technical operations.

Additional Tasks

Carry out any additional tasks adapted to emerging needs.

Qualifications

Hold a college diploma in Special Education Techniques or a diploma/certificate recognized as equivalent.

Language Proficiency

Be fluent in written and oral English. Knowledge of French would be an asset.

Experience

Have experience working with students with behavioral and academic difficulties.

Certifications

Valid first-aid certificate.
