About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior IT Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a Junior IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize documentation and guides to troubleshoot and resolve client issues
  • Produce service tickets with JIRA as needed
  • Execute procedures or escalate tickets to specialized teams
  • Assist clients with Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS workstation configuration
  • Assist clients with standard software usage
  • Install and configure workstations, including hardware and software setup
  • Manage access requests, including user account creation, password changes, and security rule implementation
  • Utilize a computerized incident and request management system (Jira)

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT asset management
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Intune cloud platform
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SCCM tool
  • Experience with workstation setup, including hardware and software configuration
  • Domain administration experience
  • Server maintenance and upkeep experience
  • Documentation writing experience
  • Excellent customer service skills

Job Type

Contractual 6-month position with strong possibilities of renewal
