At Tim Hortons (Carstairs, AB), we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and walk.
