About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at GUARDIUM LOGISTICS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of 5-10 warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the business.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Co-ordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and accounted for.
    • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve stock management.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on warehouse performance, including metrics on productivity, stock levels, and staff performance.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and procurement teams, to ensure seamless integration of warehouse operations with other business functions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of work.
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility and initiative.
Working Conditions
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Language and Work Hours
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
