About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Manager to join our team at Good Shepherd Centres. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supportive housing programs, ensuring the highest level of service delivery to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of support staff to provide trauma-informed care and support services to tenants
  • Develop and implement program operations that support tenants with complex needs, including homelessness, trauma, substance use, mental health, and poverty
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure continuity and consistency of service delivery
  • Provide on-going support and risk management to the 24-hour staffed supportive housing program
  • Supervise staff in the collection of clinical information and on-going record-keeping as required by Good Shepherd Non-Profit Homes, funding agencies, and applicable legislation
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in social or health sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in mental health, supportive housing, and community collaboration
  • Management/supervisory experience and demonstrated skills in developing, mentoring, and dealing with performance-related issues
  • Ability to provide on-call responsibilities and rotate on-call to the HOMES program as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Committed to anti-racist/anti-oppressive practice and to the mission and values of Good Shepherd
