JOB OPPORTUNITY: Clinical Supervision Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced clinical supervisor to join our team. This role is designed for a skilled professional who is enthusiastic about mentoring and guiding our exceptional clinical staff. The Clinical Supervision Manager will provide both individual and group supervision, focusing on enhancing the clinical competencies of our counselling team while ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support clinical personnel through individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure that clinical outcomes align with our organizational standards and practices.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong clinical expertise and sound judgment, with a trauma-informed perspective.
  • In-depth knowledge of various therapeutic and counselling techniques, particularly short-term, solution-focused approaches.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health issues, substance use disorders, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with legal obligations related to mandatory reporting and duty to warn.
  • Exceptional skills in both individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to proactively address challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Awareness of community resources related to clinical matters and experience working within diverse populations.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Education and Experience
  • Master's degree in psychotherapy, social work, psychology, or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of clinical practice.
  • 2-5 years of experience in providing clinical supervision to individuals and groups is preferred.
  • Experience in delivering therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups across a range of clinical issues.
  • Preferred experience in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), short-term problem resolution, or crisis line services.
  • Knowledge or experience in Workplace Mental Health or Psychological Health & Safety is advantageous.
  • Registration as an RCC, CCC, or RSW is mandatory.

  • Successful completion of a criminal record check.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination status will be required.
