Key Responsibilities- Assist with treatment programs and application of therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Registered Therapist to restore, maintain and/or enhance the level of functional independence and quality of life of clients/patients/residents.
- Work independently to provide support to clients/patients/residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of client/patient/resident needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients/patients/residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
- Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant diploma (OTA/PTA)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Laser Certification, where required
- Valid driver's license, where required
