Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with treatment programs and application of therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Registered Therapist to restore, maintain and/or enhance the level of functional independence and quality of life of clients/patients/residents.
  • Work independently to provide support to clients/patients/residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of client/patient/resident needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with clients/patients/residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant diploma (OTA/PTA)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Laser Certification, where required
  • Valid driver's license, where required
