Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at JIO CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, mixing and pouring concrete, and assisting in demolishing buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work in various locations, including construction sites, and will be required to work in physically demanding conditions. You will be part of a team that values diversity and inclusion, and we are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees, as well as Indigenous people.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
