Job Title: Air Transport Captain

Ornge Global Air Inc. operating as Ornge is seeking a highly skilled Air Transport Captain to join our team. As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft and ensure that all systems are functioning properly.
  • Monitor the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Co-ordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, and direct the activities of the aircraft crew during flights.
  • Conduct in-flight tests and monitor the functioning of aircraft equipment and systems.
  • Maintain effective communication with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters, and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of the job.
  • Client-focused and able to provide excellent customer service.
