Job Title: Captain - Air Transport

Ornge Global Air Inc. operating as Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain - Air Transport to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to operate fixed wing aircrafts or helicopters, ensuring the safe transportation of passengers and cargo. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, monitoring the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight, and conducting pre-flight inspections of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate fixed wing aircrafts or helicopters to transport passengers and cargo
  • Coordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control
  • Monitor the operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections of aircraft
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters
  • Respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
