About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Comfort Keepers. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring clients receive nutritious and delicious meals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a comfortable living space.
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities, providing safe and reliable transportation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
