Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at BarBurrito. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and paper products, to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Handle customer transactions, including taking orders, processing payments, and providing change.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service even in high-pressure situations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is located in a rural area, and we offer staff accommodation for our employees. We are willing to relocate the right candidate.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week.
