Job Title: Registered Technologist - MRI

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist - MRI to join our team. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for carrying out the technical flow of work and actively participating in the daily departmental quality assurance program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide complete patient care.
  • Optimize image quality and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Diploma (Degree) in radiography from an accredited institution.
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care, including strong patient assessment, care planning, patient education, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in magnetic resonance imaging in a hospital setting.
  • Experience working on both 1.5 and 3T systems and assets.
