We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Corporate Actuarial team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert actuarial advice and support to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement actuarial models to analyze loss reserves and loss adjustment expense reserve adequacy
  • Collaborate with our data scientists to develop new reserving methodologies and utilize new tools to ensure we stay on the cutting edge in this competitive industry
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to help them grow in their careers
  • Research and develop new approaches to reserving and stress testing
  • Prepare supporting materials for reports for submission to regulatory authorities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Sciences or a Master's Degree in Mathematics
  • P&C Reserving and Stress Testing (FCT/DCAT) Experience
  • Passed at least 5 of the 9 CAS exams, or relevant experience
  • Key Software expertise (SAS, Excel, VBA an asset)
