Position Overview

The Department of Medical Imaging at McMaster University, in collaboration with Hamilton Health Sciences, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Body Imaging Radiologist to join our esteemed team.

This role is situated within a prominent tertiary referral center, recognized for its robust Level 1 trauma services. The ideal candidate will enhance our multidisciplinary imaging team and contribute to our comprehensive imaging programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including radiography, ultrasound, and CT, with optional expertise in body MRI.
  • Engage in clinical scheduling, subspecialty rounds, and teaching assignments across both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Participate in the on-call schedule and collaborate with peers to refine imaging protocols and quality control initiatives.
  • Mentor and train technologists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications

The successful applicant will hold a valid license or be eligible for licensure in Ontario, and must be certified (or eligible for certification) in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or an equivalent body. Previous experience in an academic environment or independent health facility is advantageous.
