The successful candidate will join our team at the McMaster Children's Hospital site, a pediatric academic centre serving the special and unique healthcare needs of children and youth.
About the RoleThe Pediatric Radiologist will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to children and youth, with a focus on Pediatric Interventional Radiology. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality imaging services to children and youth
- Participate in the development and implementation of imaging protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Contribute to the education and training of residents and medical students
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario, certified (or eligible for certification) in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent. The candidate must also meet the credentialing requirements of Hamilton Health Sciences.
