Production Coordinator Job Description

Sing Hai Seafood Co. Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials, and preparing and submitting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate production activities with other departments to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and control the movement of supplies and materials between departments to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs of production activities, including inventory levels, production schedules, and quality control metrics.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner.
  • Monitor production progress and identify areas for improvement to optimize productivity and product quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Train and mentor new employees on production procedures and policies.
  • Follow up on issues related to work orders and resolve any discrepancies or problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that production needs are met and that inventory is optimized.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or logistics role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The Production Coordinator will work in a fast-paced production environment with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Production Coordinator will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
