Job Summary:

Brandt is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our construction and forestry team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and machinery in a field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose the working condition of heavy equipment and machinery
  • Repair and maintain heavy equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Use technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proven computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
