Position Overview

As a Construction Cost Analyst at Eurowood Carpentry 2000 Inc., you will play a crucial role in evaluating and preparing cost estimates for various construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to effective budgeting and financial planning within the organization.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Work Environment

Your primary focus will be on estimating within a dynamic construction setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed estimates for labor and material costs
  • Calculate general expenses and overheads
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  • Employ quantity take-off techniques for accurate assessments
  • Establish cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Oversee and adjust contract expenditures as necessary
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding cost estimate modifications
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in take-off packages
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
Relevant Experience
  • Background in architecture

Transportation Requirements
