Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our kitchen leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and providing coaching and training to our team members.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen strategies and initiatives.
- Lead the culinary team in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff, focusing on food preparation, presentation, and customer service.
- Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
- Conduct regular kitchen audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients and products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
