About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team at County Gardener. As a key member of our outdoor team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and performing various other tasks related to landscape maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn maintenance tasks.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including weed trimmers, edgers, lawn mowers, and trimmers.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal growth and health.
Requirements
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet, damp, and hot environments.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, with a seasonal work term.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer with County Gardener, you will be working in various locations, including outdoor settings and landscape maintenance areas. You will be required to travel to different sites, and a valid driver's license is not required.

Language

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
