Cardiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Cardiac Testing department, you will be responsible for performing techniques related to Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, and pacemaker monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ECG testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, and pacemaker monitoring using diagnostic cardiac equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote patient safety and quality care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Completion of a Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists recognized Diploma program in Cardiology Technology, plus one year's recent, related experience
- Current practicing registration with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
