Responsibilities:- Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to support their growth and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist with cooking duties as needed.
- Provide exceptional care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
- Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and communicate effectively with parents to ensure seamless care.
- Lead activities that foster creativity, such as storytelling, arts, and physical activities.
- Encourage children to express themselves through various media, including art, music, and dramatic play.
- Guide children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for meals and rest periods.
- Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents or supervisors.
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any challenges.
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with colleagues and community service providers.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, and plan activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
- Previous experience in childcare or a related field.
- Required certifications, such as first aid and CPR.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
