Job Overview

The Pavers Inc. is seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetic of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Adjustments: Make modifications and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. For major repairs, coordinate with professional tradespeople.
  • Contractor Liaison: Engage with contractors for necessary repairs and ongoing maintenance of the premises.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety and security assessments to ensure a safe environment.
  • Property Showings: Present apartments and office spaces to potential tenants.
  • Heavy Lifting: Assist in moving substantial furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Routine Maintenance: Carry out various maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and involves physical activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
